I am an ultimate dumb ass. I replaced the started in it today, started it up and thought it sounded funny. I let in run for no more them 3 minutes and it went pop!

Actually no I wasnt planning on buying a lawn mower. I had my heart set on a pair of 07 VPI Axanthics instead.

Check out one of those manual ones. They are cheap and provide good exercise, plus they don't break as easily.

What exactly happened to your lawnmower, and what kind of engine does it have? I like working on small engines, I just fixed my lawnmower, it was misfiring like crazy. Turns out it was simple, the air cleaner was clogged. The briggs & stratton engine on the lawnmower is 28 years old and runs like a top, only problem is that there is some blue smoke on startup, but I don't care enough about that. It doesn't do it while I mow.

I have the coolest lawn mower in the world. It came with the house when I bought it, the paint on it is so chipped and ugly that I can't even tell what make it is, but it's ugliness also keeps anyone from wanting to steal it.

Reason it's so cool: It's electric, and whisper-quiet. I mean extremely whisper-quiet. As in I can mow the grass at 5 am and no one would complain about noise.

People have walked by while I'm mowing and commented that they thought it wasn't even on. :D

I've had it for going on 18 years now, wouldn't trade it for any of the new ones.

back when i was a little tyke...from about 7-11.... I had a mower like this one but not so shiny ;)

We had a wood stove and I was in charge of cutting stacking and filling the house with wood. Being that we had our wood across the property and I was still a small lil duffer... I had to come up with a way to make it much easier on myself. I hooked two of my wagons up to the back of it and all the sudden i had a miniature snapper mac-10 double trailer loggin truck...

that fucker never failed... Id un hook them and pop wheelies with that fine automobile...
