LOL I'm over it . and I would have no clue how to spray ?? I have cats rubbing agaist the wall stepping in paint and all sorts of BS going on ... I talked to a guy this afternoon at lowes he that said he could do each room a diff color for 30 bucks a room !!! ummm fuck yea, he says he does not spray or tape just paints with no mess.. He said he did it for the gov. for 20 years !!!! His phone will be ringing tomorrow

i think there should be explosive colors invented, you close the door , press radio control and BAM its done :)

Two words: paint grenades. It saves time and gives your interior that "I'm all artsy fartsy and it may look horrible but you'll assume it's trendy because you don't want to seem uncool" kind of look.

30$ a room, hmmm I would have said that to get into your house too.. Since it is a lot more than just spraying. You need to cut in all the corners = hours of work a room

Yah edges are the part that takes experience/practice.. butt...
they do sell special tapes and brushes for the perfect edge :P

What do you do live in a fucking Garage? Sorry to tell you but you got to plaster the sheetrock and then paint it. If anything your Invention should be colored plaster:)

Well the Bathroom needed work, then some plumbing. Then I took and electricians class and redid all the electrical in the garauge followed by a good paint job.

Then came all the tools...
then I got real stupid and decided to build a Cobra with a 351 in it...

Nah all you need is a couple of kids, give them some paint and let them run riot in the room you want painted..works every time ..dont forget to take out your carpet though

I wouldn't trust somebody so cheap...also get someone who does edging because it looks so much better.

Only the lazy painters don't use edging.

they have a finish plaster that is colored. :thumbsup

can't be done. I mean yes, they can sell them coloured, BUT what happens when you have to do the tapping and puttying? it would fuck it all up and you would have to paint again.

you would have to put plastic strips in the joints and is visible like the old fake wood panneling was like that

matching putty maybe and matching textur spray would be a possibility

i think it could totally be done nicely

if you spray it you would not need the sheetrock colored.

Plus you need to spray it to seal the sheetrock paper.

Just get you some Mexican's that are hanging around outside Lowe's. They usually have all there drywall tools in the back of there van or pick up. :thumbsup

check ebay, the mexicans are leaving lots of pawn shops are selling their drywall tools, market is crashing.

I would suggest going with a reputable contractor to get the work done. Sure you will pay more but the job will turn out better and you won't have someone that has been in jail or something walking around your house.

I just saw a program on MSNBC about contractors that were in jail for a number of different crimes trying to get work and would either take the money and not do the job or rob your house at a later date.

Go with a bonded contractor and investigate the bonding agency the contactor uses for further information.

best post. do research just like everything else. because bonded does not always mean good either. I just got done 100k in repairs on a project a bonded contractor fucked up :thumbsup
