Unique approach to a fully legal tube site

Ok, so I'm basically looking for input on this new approach to a legal tube.

Basically, Jake and I are going to be cranking out a few of these. An example can be seen at http://www.scuzzvideo.com .

You're probably asking how this is unique, it looks like a tube with a bunch of shitty sponsor clips.

1. We do have full videos
BUT they are basically run of the mill content that we have LEGALLY purchased. Thus, we can have full videos floating around for traffic surge without stealing content.

2. A tube site that has a webmaster submission system
Webmasters can submit their videos and gain traffic from our site as well. They display on the left navigation.

and of course, we have a large database of 2 minute sponsor clips, but that's not unique.

I think this is how a tube site should be run, and I hope webmasters follow in our path. It stops theft and copyright infringement while still giving the users what they want. Also, actual PPS sign ups are expected to bring in even more money than the typical tube site.

Input, ideas, etc.?

Doesn't free full scenes just attract people who are looking for free or someone could of been willing to pay to get off but money is tight so they jerk to the free shit instead since its there for them? Its look good I wish you the best of luck.

No, tube sites do generate sales. They attract people who want to look at porn, nothing more, nothing less.

would be nice if it didnt link to Zango :(

payd2purv 06-21-2008 03:01 PM

Design/layout is bad. really needs to be liquid.. needs to be a lot cleaner less of a clusterfuck of girls faces, less like a mgp more like youtube...

Your ad system isn't currently working.

How come i'm watching a allrealitypass.com clip but above the playing clip is a banner for Mr Chews?

and it took me to mr chews when I clicked the actual video.

I want allrealitypass.com

Also I had no idea I could click the video window to go to the site in question.. i just tried it..

That should be pointed out to the surfer..

that's enuff for now i guess..

There is a difference in quality of traffic,if its full of people looking for free shit. Lots of yahoo groups are full of people looking for porn, if you convert 1 in 10,000 you're lucky.

I didn't see any Zango links, but I didn't really look that long, hope that isn't the case or his domain fits him well.

You may have legally purchased the content, but can it be used in that manor? IE given out on a free site?I know a lot of content producers get pissy about that kinda thing. :2 cents:

Oh and why is the site linked to the video a pop-up? Firefox blocks it.

Isn't allrealitypass.com just the multipass site for TCG? I know all the videos from RealityKings have RK watermarks and not the individual sites the videos are from...

porn is so 90s

most flash opens in a new window. That has always pissed me off about flash ads.

I don't know if that's how they SHOULD be run. Nobody knows that yet. We need to see more innovative tube sites out there to get a handle on what works best. However, given the bandwidth costs of running such sites, the bar of entry is a lot higher than TGP's were. So innovation right now is depending on a handful of people, and not much is happening as a result.

What we will probably see are tube site owners (and especially those who want to run tube sites) demanding that sponsors host the videos on their own servers and eat the bandwidth costs. Then with many more webmasters involved and tube sites around every corner, we'll see things become much more refined.

I dunno..

I see a allrealitypass clip that's what turned me on... not Mr Chews asian girls..

Yah I might want a subscription to MrChews also but that's going to be a harder sale then just the allrealitypass that brought me there... And i'm likely to leave the Mr Chews site immediately when I realize it's got nothing to do with the video I just saw thinking it was a mistake..

It's just because the person who made the flash is using the wrong settings.

I'm assuming they TCG watermarks all of their videos with the same stamp.

The banners are displayed by category of TCG site. I assure you, you were watching a Mr. Chews video unless TCG had an error in their RSS feed (how I grab videos)

I don't promote Zango. Does AAW go through zango again? They assured me they no longer do. Time to drop AAW again I guess.

Thank you.

You've got a cool domain but the layout doesn't excite me. Where's the search button? It looks to generic, to much typical LA type shit :2 cents:

Lets hope sponsors don't fall for that..

IMO your color scheme is more fitting for something dark or maybe fetish.. It signals danger for some reason.. It could use a new crisp & clean look..

Nicky 06-21-2008 08:30 PM

I have a question. Why are we so stupid in this industry that we invent things that hurt our self? I remember when thumb TGP's came, it was horrible..... We learned to live with it. But showing 30min vids to surfers and saying "Don't worry, they are legal" like it would matter? The harm is already done.

That said I am thinking about starting a tube site, just like I started a thumb TGP in 02.

Nicky 06-21-2008 08:35 PM

I'm drunk, thumb TGP's isn't the thing, I ofcourse mean "video posts" MGP. what I'm trying to say is, more free content = bad. Some free content is needed but never 30min videos, no?

Don't bother... it's a thing the US market never really understood :Oh crap

There's no need to make the surfer cum for free - there's only a need to get his dick hard and him excited :2 cents:

Well, at least that's still the case in some markets :winkwink:

I used to promote on yahoo groups for more than 4 years, the conersion ratios were at least 2 times better than TGPs

tube sites - you'll make cam and dating sales, the sponsors in question will make you sales too but treat it as complimentary income...

also the guy above is right about the clusterfuck design, I removed all the whistles and bell form one of my sites - it loads faster, it gets more repeated visits, once your site grows you can always start skmming etc

Jace 06-22-2008 01:02 AM

full videos is full videos, stolen or not they attract non-buyers
