cams.com stats question

ok when the stats say number of member - 25(6)

what does the (6) mean??

g$$$ 06-21-2008 12:57 AM

it means the number of confirmed members.

they actually confirmed the e-mail address is valid. :)

How long on average does it take for cams.com signups to convert to paying status? A few months?

What percentage of cams.com signups eventually convert to paid members?

This is how I did with Cams.com from a teen blog with one of their newer video animated ads:

658 (Raw) 582 (Uniques) 14 (Members) (5) (Confirmed)

I switched it to MooCash and these were my numbers:

2636 (Raw) 2175 (Unique) 18 (Free Users) 1 (Sign-Up, did not spend anything other than free $10 dollars)

After this I decided to take down any cams advertising on my teen blog. I just don't think you can convert it. I did a lot more click throughs with MooCash's ad than Cams.com though. But not as good as a free member ratio as Cams.com. Anyone have any luck promoting Cam web sites on a teen blog with no webcam traffic? I hardly ever see anyone doing it. Which leads me to believe that others have had the same problem.

The only way you might be able to convert it is by making a teen landing page for a webcam program... Also I suggest you try out mTree they will already have links for you to do this.

There is a thread from yesteryear where Lars goes into it... but from memory if you are converting 1:45 or 1:60 CONFIRMED signups (the number in the parens) You have cams traffic on the line.

Personally, I typically have 1:80 confirmed to paid with Streamray prior to the last 2 months massive slowdown. So I'm a gonna change links soon if nothing with streamray improves.
