Time Mag Thinks about Porn on Iphones

http://www.time.com/time/business/ar...0.html?cnn=yes

Interesting excerpt:

"Cahen says an industry group called the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection has worked to promote industry-wide adherence to standards preventing youth access to porn. Problems may still arise, says Holden. "If the Janet Jackson episode led to a fine for a quick breast flash," he says, "can you imagine what could happen to an American carrier if a child gets hold of some of the hard-core materials that are easily available? The FCC will have a field day.""

Any thoughts?

Ugh hate to be quoting you.

There is no porn available on any channel the FTC regulates and there is only very very limited adult content on the few channels beyond the base 4 stations that still fall in with basic cable.

There are also no computers in your home that are regulated by the FTC unless of course the Government prevails against Evil Angel in their current case. Look for yourself on that one if you do not see what the Government is trying to pull there.

As for Iphones, they equal phones. Telephone laws are governed by the FTC and are not the same old freedom of speech rules.
