Shoot canceled: model's boyfriend beat her up
 

I was supposed to shoot Cassandra Calogera tomorrow (photos below), but her agent called me and canceled the shoot. He told me she was beaten up by her boyfriend yesterday, and she's too bruised to shoot for at least the next week.

Tough guy, huh? Beating up on a girl.

I had to photograph a model a few years back at the request of Police. Her so called boyfriend / pimp / manager has beat the shit out of her, so much so that when the police arrived at her house they found her hiding in a kitchen cabinet under the sink. Her body was black from head to toe with bruises and she was covered with blood. I shot a few rolls of 120 film and felt sick at the end. At least they caught the asshole and he got 5 years without the possibility of probation. Her sister had a similar incident, seems like they are attracted to this type ? :helpme:helpme

I feel bad for the girl. She has a jaded history I believe, and if she is who I'm thinking of, this is at least her second and more likely third reinvention into adult, and I think some of them might have been a bit dramatic. I'd follow the advice of others; keep drama at arms distance.

What kind of agent has she got. If all the agent can come up with is the truth then she might want to consider moving on. Agent screwed the pooch on this one. Not her fault she got her ass kicked, but now she has to go through the humiliation of not getting any work because her agent ran his/her mouth.
