Ideas for Italy

Hi,

I'm going just like others on holiday this year :thumbsup.

Someone recommends or ideas or specials to visit in Toscane?

Regards!

All Toscany is nice , of course Florence and Sienna , I am not too much into Pisa , but then , you have to go to the seaside around , is just beautiful , and choose to stay in a Agroturismo place , nice old house an good food ;) .
Have fun there .. Italy is the best place to visit , no matter winter or summer http://www.missnirvana.net/img/IMG_1196.JPG

You have to see Florence and Pisa, you have to see a couple of beaches, go to Elba and enjoy the cultural heritage; take as much time as you can, you will need it.
Take your lady to the Thermal Spring in Saturnia and enjoy it under the moon light - that is truly relaxing

I will tell Mo from translationsxxx.com to check this thread out. He can probably offer you some advice.

Cant wait to go there, but we want my son to be a little older so that he remembers it. want to hit rome.

I want also to go to vatican city, so I can give the pope the finger, and maybe chip some gold off the wall of the building.

Went to Tuscany (among other places) last fall - there are some great villas in the area surrounding the hill towns - beautiful rooms overlooking olive groves, etc. - and the hill towns are fabulous. (I stayed outside Montepulciano but there are lots of other areas too)
Don't miss Sienna :) And the drive to Florence is only about an hour.
Just remember it's REALLY pricey (even for Europe) in Italy these days.

Been in the Tuscany last november (we did the Rome-Pisa-Venice-Florence-Naples tour). We loved Florence. Worth 2-3 nights there. Also liked a lot Pisa. Comparing to Florence, was very cheap to eat and hotels are not expensive.
Enjoy your trip. Don't forget your sunblock. It will be hot. :upsidedow:thumbsup

Nice view MistressNirvana! :winkwink:

Italy is always been one of the places I'm dying to visit. Milan, Venice and Rome would be the first places to hit for me.

And here i am....

well everybody seems to know a lot of information about Toscana, what i can suggest is a website that i heard is pretty useful:

http://www.welcometuscany.it/

What i can suggest since you are there is to take the ferry boat in Piombino or Livorno and spend a weekend in SArdinia.

I made this post a while back about Sardinia
