which one of the 3? I know them all pretty well and have had many conversations with them about this site, many of them heated. But this shit has got to fucking stop already. They don't care. They actually told me that if they stopped people from posting content the site would die, and they didn't want that. :(

Well if you are talking about the 3 I think you are, all of them are good guys. Is there specific content of yours up there they will not remove?

Yeah those types of sites have been around forever. Surfers are just now realizing with the tubes that they can find the content for free when searching around the web. Shutting them down would be nice, removing them from the search engines would be nice also. They get tons of new users every day because their threads are showing up in the search results. I wonder how hard it would be to report that to google. It wouldn't really stop the issue, but it would definitely stop these sites from gaining new members via searches.

Yeah these forums are killing us. We have to spend a few hours a day chasing down rapidshare links etc.

Im going to be talking to removeyourcontent, my wife got a bunch of links from another forum full scenes and a zip file of 3000 images this is such bullshit and it will wasnt for all the fucking ads.These people wouldnt exist.

While I agree that the free porn is hurting sales somewhat, I think there are a lot of other things that are having a larger impact.

For sure. I just got a bit pissed tonight when I stumbled onto a link on the forum that had tons of content of sites I try and promote.

I agree I would guess probably 70 percent wouldn't buy anyway but that 30 percent can add up.

Be more pissed that the sites or owners of those sites, dont have the time that it takes or the money to get it removed.

You would be doing an even bigger service by notifying the sites who have tons of stolen content on there, about the site via ICQ or e-mail.

Ill say again though. The content should never have left the members areas to begin with. Once it is out it is like herding cats. Want to increase conversions? Stop allowing people that are renting your content to keep it. Industry wide change needs done. I know I know.. cant be done. Customers will cry about it. Blah blah blah. :winkwink:

It's the companies who allow these type of sites to profit who need to start being held accountable. There should be action taken to regulate the advertisers and to hold them accountable for allowing someone to profit from traffic generated by piracy. drop the fucking bomb on anyone who allows pirate to profit and sponsors will stop allowing the shit to happen. give it a year and all the big sites will be phased out.

After all that would be FAR more convenient to the "customer" right? You always seem so concerned with the customer being able to easily download and keep your content. While I am more concerned with easy VIEWING by my customer. The "keeping" not so much. Maybe netflix should start just giving out dvd's and allowing the customer to keep them for 4.99 yes? There are hundreds of forums like this, with thousands of active members, posting up shitloads of stolen content/full rips using services like rapidshare... I'm surprised how many people in this thread aren't aware of this...

I'm interested to know what you mean by 'encrypted streams' and if it can stop screen recorders from recording your content...
