Why in the hell are both sides crowded with people looking across at each other or at the boat? Is it really that interesting, ya ok its a aqueduct on a big scale but it still is just a river.

Reminds me of some footage I saw of an airport once... can't remember the location or the exact details, but basically it was a runway bridge. A 747 was crossing it, rolling several metres above the lower level.

I think the Phoenix airport has something like that.....

Here in Phoenix we have taxiways that you drive under to get to the terminals... I think there are a few airports that have this. It's always cool to be driving under when a plane is crossing. The kids love it.

Probably tourists who have never seen anything like that before. ( I am ASS U ME ing).
