Epassporte - 40.00 CAD = 48.04 USD?
Just went out for a couple drinks at this one place last night and used my Epass. Checked my account this morning and 40.00 CAD = 48.04 USD?
What the hell, that aint right ...:disgust |
this morning - 40.00 CAD
= 38.8576 USD |
Give it a day... the amount "adjusts" itself in your balance, in your statement...
Took me a while to get used to USD being punked money... |
Same thing for me... Taking almost everyday around 610.00 CAD = 614.00 USD
and when I use a currency converter 610.00 CAD = 593.00 USD That's almost a $20 difference. Why? I know they charge $2 per ATM transaction but where is the rest of my money? |
maybe tips?
|
tips for epass reps maybe.
|
lol at the tips

Listen, it's been said time and time again.
If you are using your Epassporte at a Restaurant, Bar, etc, a % is automatically added to the authorization. This is to cover any amount you might leave as a tip. In a few days, when the place you used the card at settles the transaction, it will adjust to be the actual amount of the transaction. |
I know its a rip, but they have stated time and time again, that the exchange rate is not set by them but by the banks:2 cents:

Talking about tips, use your card only at ATM's.
|
I guess they take some extra bucks when you swipe at restaurants and gas stations, and adjust it after a couple days.
Better to use at ATM and pay cash. I always do this. |

It can be the owner of the ATM charge a huge fee when using foreign cards, I suggest you try ATMs from a different bank. Email me you UserID and I will see if we can see a reason for this. |
Doesn't it show a break-down of the calculation?
