xml feeds?
 

I ran into a couple of sponsors today that offered xml feeds, i though it was like rss feeds, but then after generating it, it wanted to be downloaded...?

Is xml feeds just some feeds that I need to upload to my own server and then they wont get updated or what are they?

They're some arbitrary data stored as XML. If they're trying to get you to download it, it's probably being sent as the proper mime type. Thems be some smart sponsors.

All RSS feeds are being provided in XML format only.
