new google SEO rule discovered

That is interesting, good thing I don't have any URLs ending in .0

pr0 06-13-2008 03:30 PM

this can easily be solved by making sure to have a / at the end

domain.com/1.0 - doesnt work

but

domain.com/1.0/ works fine

pr0 06-13-2008 03:40 PM

i love when people find some obscure error like this...that affects almost no-one

outside of programmers providing update url's with version #'s attached lol

_Richard_ 06-13-2008 03:43 PM

thanks for the heads up

Trax 06-13-2008 03:45 PM

*yawn* ...

Like it or not the web is still based on serving files that have extensions. SEOmoz should know better than to post on stupid URLs. There's a bunch of browsers out there that don't trust web server mime types and would likely choke on URLs like this as well.

StarkReality 06-13-2008 04:17 PM

I doubt many people have a problem with this in adult, but still very interesting...

SayWhut 06-13-2008 04:35 PM

LOL Well looks like they fucked up their SEO on that post if you look at URL .....

Kard63 06-13-2008 08:59 PM

lots of crazy long links from sites using NATS end in 0.

woj 06-13-2008 09:30 PM

I guess it's interesting, but it's as useful as those windows "Bush hid the facts" notepad bugs people have been drooling about for years... obscure information that effects maybe .0000001% of internet users...
