Newbie looking for work

Hello, I have been on this board for several months, but other forces in my life have kept me from really participating on this board up until recently. School has been out for the semester for about a month, and I have not been able to find a decent job yet (still looking). I am new to this business, but I am willing to learn and work hard. I am good with menial tasks, such as blogging, trailer editing, image resizing, gallery making etc.

No, unfortunately I am starting from scratch :(. (You can all laugh at me all you want). I know I'll have to prove myself some how, but Hey we all got to start somewhere I guess.

Good luck bro. Here is a bump for you. I would suggest spending your time researching and putting something together on your own. You probably wont find too many people on here willing to hire someone and train them on everything. I know I didn't have a mentor, I am 100% self taught.

quoted for truth.

if you have the skills... put something together... a small portfolio...

if not a full portfolio, at least some examples of what you can do...

you cant just say I can do this, i can do that... prove it...

we were in your shoes before... I know when i threw a portfolio together and proved what i could do, I got a lot more attention from clients...

thats just how it rolls here... :pimp

good luck and get to practicing :thumbsup
