windows server question. how to enable SSI
I've come to ask help from the almighty knowledge pool i know exists here at GFY!
The default for IIS Server Side Incluces (SSI) is .shtml, how do I add .htm and .html to also be parsed for includes in windows 2000? thank you!! yan |
you guys aren't fast enough, Chaos from Matrix gave me a faster response! here's the answer in case anybody is interested to know.....
in IIS, go to the site's properties, home directory, configurations. then add the extension .htm to execute the same DLL that's being used for .shtml bingo, all your pages can now use Server Side Includes! do the same for .html if you so desire. |
