He's been here since 2002 but if you search his nick and check the last 10+ pages of posts he's made they have all been made bumping contest threads!

It's kinda sad that people have to bump contest threads just to make a living.

Want some fun. Go into say the Evil Angel congrats winners thread and look at the list of winners. Then if you feel like it check their post history, if not just try to figure out how many you either know or have seen posting outside of such a contest thread.

I have seen many people with anywhere from 5,000 to 10,000+ posts with join dates in 07 or 08 that are like 99% contest thread posts.

but you can earn money when you make a particular post number, example 251
but if the thread is currently on page 3 with 236 replies, then someone needs to bump it so that it gets closer to 251

so some people start the day with GFY and simply bump like 10 contest threads at once to 'keep them alive'

don't blame the guys for it, blame GFY for allowing such contests or - blame the sponsors, for not being more creative in their promotions

so many contest whores these days is ridiculous..... Oh well as the aristocrat man says.. I blame the media....... I mean sponsors......:upsidedow

Its quite sad. Didn't Firehorse used to do pretty good in this business? I remember him and Kitty had a really good board. It was big and did well but then they sold it and it went to shit.

Firehorse doesn't post much on gfy threads as most here are useless anyways. But if you visit other boards he is an active poster with alot more knowledge of the industry then most in this thread.

They should put that time in some real work. It's such a waste they spend so much time in contest threads.

who cares.. the more time spent doing contests.. the less time working making money.. therefore more chances for you to make the sale..

It basically shows what a fucking dumb person it is. The amount of time he spents on these contests for beer money is insane. Anyone with a brain who would spend that time on something else like building sites would make so much more.
He will tell you "its all just for fun" like he and the other sad contest morons do all the time but believe me, its very serious business for them. And this isnt some 14 year old kid.
