Increased sales due to high gas

I've been having better than average sales and I'm guessing it's because few people are driving... many are staying home and jerking off! I love it... let gas get up to $5.00+... btw, I have a truck, so I'm being affected also, lol

at least you'll have the money to not ever worry about gas!

ive noticed a change also, and I also drive a truck an 08 dodge ram to tow my boat with, so Its paying for the gas :)

Gas anticipated to be $5.00/gallon in two weeks...

Great thread topic - we were discussing the relative influence of rising fuel prices on e-commerce right after Xbiz LA show...

the staying home thing only helps short term....pretty soon those people staying home will be the ones not able to get to their job

you guys are crazy, do you really think some broke ass who cant afford to pay $4 a gallon to drive somewhere is the same person that is ready to dish out $30-40 to sign up for a porn site?

Yes. It's not that they can't afford to pay $4 a gallon, it's that they will be going out less, using better time management and eliminating unnecessary trips. Those with mainstream sites should see increased orders for the same reason, especially those with enough margin to offer free shipping...:warning

We've seen these price spikes in the US before, and no one got too excited because there was always a respite - this time, I think they are permanent...

This is good to think about!
