Took a meditation class yesterday

4 hours of yoga, chanting and meditation. I feel so centered. Anyone here meditate?

Did that once. I fell asleep.

Really.

They said sleep was okay the first few times because the line between sleep and meditation is a thin one

I manage 20 minutes, 3-5 times a week. Good stuff :thumbsup

I should really meditate because I'm so hyper all the time. I'm going to start off with some hot yoga and see where it leads me.

I do yoga, it's pretty relaxing, and helps in disguising sings of distress

I have an entire section of my office dedicated to meditation. I love it! When I lived in Phoenix I used to go to meditation classes as well at the home of my Reiki instructor.

Sometimes but it makes me sleepy

I want to start the more I read about it. Do you think its better in a class type setting than trying to do it yourself?

eightmotives 06-09-2008 03:58 PM

Definitely something I need to end up doing.

I liked the class environment because the instructor talks you through but I plan to purchase some CD's for that :)
