Portuguese Feast in Newark today!!!
 

If you're in the Jersey area you should come out and hit up the Portuguese Feast today in Newark on Ferry St. I'll probably be there all day starting in a few hours at the Seabra booths dishing out Jello shots, Sangria and a few other goodies.

Stop by and hang out! Yesterday it was a great time and today should be even better! Good times, good people, and some good booze. Come say hi!

Man I miss going, I grew up in Linden in a Portuguese family and we wouldn't miss a festival. I still take the train in from NYC every time I visit for lunch at Iberia, some shrimp in garlic followed by pork and clams. The smell of the sardines on the grill is enough to make a trip to Ironbound worth it during the festival!
