Something similar to the BBB, but I know they don't deal with these type of issues.

Or do you just have to go through a lawyer?

Oh this is not a drama thread, it has nothing to do with this industry. A friend of mine is having trouble with a mainstream graphic design firm.

Edit: nm you say BBB so must be the USA..

Not much you can do cept quit and get unemployment.. And tell them it's because too many hours got cut..

Does your friend have a contract?

A lawyer will be a big waste of money.

I'm not entirely sure, but I'm assuming yes, as it is a illegitimate company.

If they can somehow prove that hours are actually getting cut, I would imagine it wouldn't be hard for a lawyer to scare them into paying what's owed + some damages....
