My wife's sister is having problems with her landlord.Who is not taking care of things and so I want to look up the law for the kid. Is it state or county?

Yeah, they havent fixed her ac for 5 weeks its bullshit So I want to get the law for her to beat them with.

Landlord obligations
Sec. 5. A landlord shall do the following
(4) Provide and maintain the following items in a rental premises in good and safe working condition, if provided on the premises at the time the rental agreement is entered into:
(D) Heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. A heating system must be sufficient to adequately supply heat

sounds like if it was working when she moved in they are required to maintain it until she leaves whether its listed in the agreement or not.

I find it interesting that they say "a heating system must be sufficient to adequately supply heat" but they don't specify what the a/c unit must do.
