Gas going up .50 a gallon in next 48 hours
 

With oil going up 11.00 and change per barrel today analyst talking next day or two a fifty cent increase in gas per gallon soon as tomorrow :disgust

Seems like gas goes up without a reason, i guess $11.00 increase in oil will easily raise it $.50 :mad::mad::mad:

the reason is the dollar is shit. oil well most oil is traded in dollars...well we all know what the dollars means in the world. so deal with it. it's only going to get worse when opec start to trade oil in EUROS

it went from about $1/ liter up to about $1.35....then went down to $1.25 a couple days ago.

now people (ie idiot-sheep-submissive-beeping-squeaking goslings) are 'thrilled' the price is down.

Looks like its going to be a blow off top to 150. That will equate to at least 4.50 per gallon for regular unleaded.

Then if we are lucky it will settle back down again in the 120s but the trend will always be upwards for the foreseeable future. $4+ will be the norm.

a scooter shop by me expanded and has such a nice inventory of scooters now... anyone else in the city notice all the people riding scooters? or by your area? says sales r at all time highs for scooter cuz they get 70mpg to 100mpg....

prediction: by the end of 2008 or early 2009, the oil bubble will burst (so long as there r no middle east wars)

It is getting crazy with the prices....

But as long as people keep driving as much as they always do the companies will keep raising the price. Apparently there's no limit to how much people will pay so why should they lower the price?

I wish people would drive less. It's the only way to force the price down. If they don't sell anything they HAVE to lower their prices.

On CNN this morning they said that the 75% of the price of gas comes from the price of oil. so if oil jumped up around 7.6% today you can expect about a 5.7% increase in gas prices. I paid $4.15 yesterday so I would guess in the next week or so that will jump around 23 cents. They said it can take up to 4 weeks before an oil spike fully hits the price of gas so it might go up a little at a time but I won't be shocked to be paying close to $4.40 by the end of the month.
