Throttlebox, what you think?
 

I just have a look of Throttlebox. It seems it's a pretty good script.

I am currently limit how many connections a mebmer can connect to the server and limit their max download speed. Is it good already or should I use Throttlebox instead? Any body use it and got good result?

If I limit member's max connection speed, they can still download something no matter what. But If I use Throttlebox, if a user download exceed certain amount, it will tell them to wait, I just afraid member might not like it.

Limiting their speed in terms of kbps doesn't seem to do a lot of good, just seems to annoy people with high speed connections. It also won't prevent people from ripping your whole members area. If limits are set correctly in Throttlebox, people shouldn't be annoyed because they can download about as fast as they could watch something. That's a lot less annoying than having people wait because the download speed is set too low.

The preview you showed me 3 months ago looks awesome, and I can't wait till it's released & upgrade.
