real player is still in business?

yes - we have zero customer support issues, true streaming and decent security for a lot of content. retention is over 50% as well.

Half of the D$ Show is in Real Player. Even in the older, low bit streamed videos, it looks pretty good.

I used to use .ram, now we use .rpm files.

Also, I couldn't find any viable solution to convert rm to wmv or flash. We lost a frame or 2 in all of the programs I tried out. But still, real player is a nice alternative and it's cool for security reasons.

The site works fine- most importantly it converts and surfers get what they pay for.

Helix is a viable streaming platform and there are pro's and con's to it, as there are with the more popular Flash format. We do plan to add Flash to XVDO soon. nope, was apparently the other card... (oddly enough, i use it almost daily had have thousands of times online in the past decade..) can't say for sure if i've used it before for paycom or not..
