Anybody here still have a VCR?
 

I just seen a pic on this board with a VCR in it and thought to myself - Wow I haven't seen one of those in a while. Who here still has a VCR? My primary source of media delivery is my computer.

They work amazingly well as adaptors; what else takes analog channel 3 in, anymore?

I was planning to up-grade and buy a VCR one of these days. But first I need to sell my record player to get the cash to finance that... :D

Yup still have one, though I also have dvd too.
Want to make it better. I still have the assorted tapes that fit the VCR that you can drop VHS-C and hi-8 tapes into.

We got rid of 50 VCRs recently just to make room, in our warehouse.

We still have over 40 in use, makeing copies inorder to sell on www.eboobstore.com

i have two in my closet.my younger sister prefers them and likes buying movies very cheap

yup i have a couple, i keep everything, my betamax still works:1orglaugh (yeah it really does, i watch the muppets and smurfs on it sometimes).
the only thing we did not keep was that yucky lazer disk thing, my dad threw that out years ago.

I have one of the dual vcr/dvd players. I still have a few dozen vhs movies still.

i still use mine to record tv shows. its cheaper than tivo.

I had a hell of a time finding a dual dvd/vcr player a few years ago, seems like nobody sells useful shit anymore.

I have two actually, but they are in my garage. No more use for them. I mostly watch tv on Tivo, or download certain programming and I make DVD-R masters for my movies nowadays.

LMAO .. thats my VCR .. I was actually using it to capture some of my older sons VHS from when he was younger to my comp to burn them to DVD for my younger son .. (8 year difference).. I actually had to drag it out and dust it off from my sons room from undernieth all the fucking gaming systems in there .. akk what a nightmare .. but very good catch .. HAHA

I have 2 VCR's, both collecting dust in my attick. And a Toshiba HDDVD player (hitting my head against the wall on this one) that is soon to join them in the dust collecting process.

I have a hi-fi VCR with fancy jog and shuttle dial currently sitting on the floor, connected up to the DVD recorder so I can capture some old family tapes... but for the past 4 years it's been in the spare room cupboard
