NEW FLAT TV questions - Help? Advice?

Looking to upgrade my 65'' HD projection TV to a 50-60 inch 1080p plasma/LCD. I have a few other LCD Flat TV's throughout the house (19' Sharp, 27'' Sharp and a 32'' Vizio ) and now it's time to upgrade the big boy.

Who's the best brand these day, for value and picture quality?

Plasma or LCD?

Thanks for the input...

Samsung LCD, I just got a 46in from them and love it so far. Was the best for the quality/price when I was shopping last month.

Yo

Samsung or Sony LCD i have the samsung with 120HZ refresh rate 52" and it is BAD ASS

I think LG makes the largest production LCD in 1080p and it is 55"

If you're not in any rush, I would suggest that you wait a while. The big makers are about to come out with some brand new TV's that are much flatter, brighter, lighter, than TV's you can buy now, and will produce better black levels.

LCD < (-)36"(+) > Plasma

Pioneer Kuro 50 - 60 inch, trust me, you won't be dissapointed. Best picture in any flat tv line up.

I just recently got the new Samsung 58 in plasma (1080p) for my office, love it. The new model is allot better then the older models.

1080p lcd is the way to go.

I bought a 46" Phillips a few months ago and I love it.
