What is Update Plugin?

Update Plugin is an ad syndication network that brings the latest updates from active member's areas to the traffic of affiliates. It seamlessly becomes a part of any TGP, blog, or freesite. It can also be used as a dynamic upsell for members areas.

Who can benefit from Update Plugin?

Affiliates are always looking for the perfect balance of new sites that will produce a burst of quick sales and established sites that will convert and lead to high retention levels. Among the things that frustrate affiliates are sites that launch and soon thereafter, stop updating with new content. It's a guessing game which leads some affiliates to be very guarded with what they will promote thereby leaving out a lot of sites that do actually update while other affiliates list all sites and hope for the best. What affiliate hasn't wished for a sure-fire way to filter out the sites with tumbleweeds rolling through them and focus their traffic where it converts best?

Paysite owners and affiliate managers are looking for dynamic promotion from their affiliates. Most will give out member's passes and update their content regularly but there is no guarantee that affiliates will have the time and/or inclination to choose to use such updated tools. What paysite owner hasn't wished for a direct avenue right into the promotional network of their valued affiliates?

Both groups know what really matters most - conversion and retention! For surfers to become a referred sale they have to be motivated. Normally that motivation to click through an ad to a paysite stems from being turned on and intrigued. Intrigue based on seeing an ad for a site that's new to them or seeing an established site displaying new content.

How does Update Plugin work?

We believe Update Plugin fills a void in the industry. By allowing paysite owners and affiliate managers (along with our in-house team) to post handpicked previews of their member's area updates, they gain direct, near real-time access to affiliates traffic.

Affiliates install the plugin in text, thumbnail, or combo format. They choose between a combination of non-nude, nude, and hardcore content feeds. They can even ignore out cash programs or specific sites they do not want to promote. After adding their appropriate affiliate codes to their profile, the plugin does the rest.

To balance the cost concerns connected with building and managing the system, Update Plugin shares a small portion of the clicks through to sponsors with plugin users. The splits are 80/20 for simple campaigns (iframe, simple install, fewer options) and 75/25 (php code, highly customizable, meshes with existing design). 5% taken from our share will go to referring webmasters via our referral program. This is a great way to add another stream of traffic to your plugin account.

The first three screencaps show the various forms in which the plugin can be displayed. Thumbnail/text combo, text only, thumbnail only. The fourth cap shows how an update is displayed. The surfer never leaves your domain unless and until they click through to the paysite featured in that update.

Kudos to an awesome plugin. I've been using it for a while now (helped beta test it) and I absolutely love it. Best plugin I've ever seen, honestly. Every time I update a site of mine, I add it to the plugin and it helps sales tremendously.

This is a great tool and I know Devin has done his homework. He really does an awesome job with support on everything he does.

A suggestion for the simple campaign would be to not include any affiliate programs where you havent entered a affiliate ID

As far as i can see it includes all of them even ones where you havent set an affiliate id for that program which mean you would be sending traffic and never get a sale for it
