Honestly what fucking difference does it make? Say she dropped out 2 months ago? Who cares? What would have changed? Nothing. Except the republicans would have had a CLEAR democrat to pounce on. As is Faux News and their ilk had to waste time and resources bashing Hillary too just in case.

Funny how the AP seems it's ok to talk to some low level phone monkey and decide to go with a national headline that is just wrong, lol. God what a bunch of morons.

What ! Monica Lewinski stuffed a sigar in Hillary ? Wow :)

Tom_PM 06-03-2008 09:15 AM

Obama/Clinton is the only ticket that is guaranteed to slaughter in November. Lets see, 50% voted for Obama, 50% voted for Clinton.. thats about 100% of democrats. Any common sense going to prevail in this? Who gives a shit what republicans think of clinton or obama. It's all about the dems this time around.

Also for those who simply cannot vote for Obama because of his church issues, bringing Clinton is about all he could do to win them back. Heard it from the horses mouth who otherwise is voting a 3rd party..:Oh crap

yeah but you need more than just dems to vote for you. Fact is 1/3 are repubs 1/3 dems 1/3 independants. So yeah 100% of 1/3 is 33% That's not going to win you anything. Do you think states like KY and Wv are going to vote for Obama just because Hillary is on the ticket? If Obama was smart he either get Jim Webb or Hagel( I know he's a repub but he's anti-Iraq ) and he shows Obama is inclusive and can pull in many GOPers disastified with McCain.

Tom_PM 06-03-2008 09:38 AM

All I know is what I hear from my friends, and many of them aren't willing to vote Obama since the whole church issue. One claims it's a very very widely held position, although I dont know how they know that. But the Wright shit didnt hit the fan until after a lot of states had voted.. that could be very much a problem for Obama since all he can do now is try to poll the hell out of those states and campaign for what they love to call the "white working class vote".
The one thing Clinton has is those votes, so I dont think it's too much of a stretch and I think it has guaranteed plusses, while the others are less sure.

I think it's more like 40d, 40r, 20i, but yah same idea. Just checked the news, looks like it was a false alarm anyways. The last 2 states are tonight aren't they? I cant imagine she would drop out before that.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Bitch.

Tom_PM 06-03-2008 11:26 AM

Come on. Edwards?

His father worked in a textile mill. End story.

He's got nothing but a losing record to bring to the ticket. Disaster for the dems.

Its funny how Bush supporting assholes like you and ObamaBabies think the same fucking way.

And to all you Obama folks out there:

The more you guys trash Hillary or Bill, the less support Obama will get from Hillary voters. But since we know that you guys dont care, just try to keep one promise.

No Looting or race riots when McCain wins in Nov.

From CNN.com "Clinton not ready to concede race, her campaign chair says"

Corona 06-03-2008 11:52 AM

She isn't going to suspend her campain until at least Thursday.

It's all about her.

Tom_PM 06-03-2008 12:06 PM

Doesnt anyone wonder how asking for MONTHS "Should Hillary Quit" has affected this process?

Clinton is going to win SD today by at least 20%, and Montana will be small single digits, and thats even if Obama can hold onto the win. IMO anyway.

Just makes me wonder if Obama is really "winning", or if the collective pile-on is just too overwhelming to overcome. In a nearly perfect 50/50 race, does it feel like it's been 50/50 to you since it started?

50/50 my ass.

She lost back in March but was just to vain to suspend her campaign.

Tom_PM 06-03-2008 01:41 PM

lol, it's not 50/50? What is it then? And how did she lose in march? Sorry to doubt your math, but I only know the old fashioned kind where you count things.

Surprising how many people don't know basic math on this board. The math doesn't lie and according to the rules Obama wins.

And vice versa which would have benefited the Dems. If two Dems are fighting for one spot the attention and research goes into winning that. Now that there is one person they can put that attention, research, and debates into finally get down to the topics and fighting McCain.
