yeah but you need more than just dems to vote for you. Fact is 1/3 are repubs 1/3 dems 1/3 independants. So yeah 100% of 1/3 is 33% That's not going to win you anything. Do you think states like KY and Wv are going to vote for Obama just because Hillary is on the ticket? If Obama was smart he either get Jim Webb or Hagel( I know he's a repub but he's anti-Iraq ) and he shows Obama is inclusive and can pull in many GOPers disastified with McCain.

All I know is what I hear from my friends, and many of them aren't willing to vote Obama since the whole church issue. One claims it's a very very widely held position, although I dont know how they know that. But the Wright shit didnt hit the fan until after a lot of states had voted.. that could be very much a problem for Obama since all he can do now is try to poll the hell out of those states and campaign for what they love to call the "white working class vote".
The one thing Clinton has is those votes, so I dont think it's too much of a stretch and I think it has guaranteed plusses, while the others are less sure.
