Question about transcoding Videos...
 

If you transcode an .AVI video into a .WMV video at 75% quality and then transcode the .WMV video into a .FLV video at 75% quality is the .FLV video 75% of of the .WMV's 75% quality or is the .FLV 100% of the .WMV's 75% quality?

there are many many more variables to consider in this. if by 75% you mean bitrate, you also have to consider changes in resolution, etc.

i usually figure quality based on the bits per pixel which is essentially 'Bits/(Pixels*Frame)'
