95 percentile billing / tube sites
 

It seems 95% billing would seriously fuck with the bandwidth bill for a tube site.

What's the best way to setup a hosting deal from the perspective of a tube site owner?

If the tube site has very steady traffic, 95th IS the way to go.

If the tube site has a set budget or the owner wants to know exactly what they will be paying, un-metered (capped, flat rate, etc.) is the way to go.

By the gig could be a disaster in overages on larger sites.

If you have a set budget, capped connections for the media/file servers would be the best bet.
Otherwise like Lycanthrope said its going to depend on your traffic curves if pergig or 95%tile is better.
