RIP Bo Diddley

Sad day :(

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Bo Diddley, a founding father of rock 'n' roll whose distinctive "shave and a haircut, two bits" rhythm and innovative guitar effects inspired legions of other musicians, died Monday after months of ill health. He was 79.

I once had the pleasure of working with Bo Diddley back in Cleveland at Shooter's Live-\

I actually backed him up as a second rhythm guitarist and got to play "who do you love" with him
What an honor that was!

RIP Bo

Just one of many
I think you are in my highlight reel as well....somewhere

The best part about Bo was that he didn't tour with a band...
He found local bands in each town to play with.

That was how I was fortunate enough to work with him- I was working at that venue for two brothers who became music legends later on by managing NIN and Manson, and I offered my services.

Not because I was such a bad ass guitarist, but because every song was only three chords.

Even a 3rd grader could play Bo's stuff...well a 3rd grader with some rhythm anyway
:-))
