UCJ problem/question
hi all, I have been told that it's normal that the hits out value in UCJ is always lower than the corresponding hits in value for the site I am trading with. From what I gather though, this value is about 30% than what it should be.
example I have 500 hits out daily to some site. if I check with the other webmaster, his hits in from my is like 350 or so... Is this normal or am I missing something? |
i use ucj....when i start a trade i.e about 1k....that person sends 1000 hits to me, i send back 1300 hits to them, i trade at 130%, as some hits can be shitty or get lost or what have you!!!
so if you trade on 130% ratio then that means you send a litle more and no one can say shit, unless your unlucky and a lot of your hits get lost!! I think thats right not sure tho :helpme |
I am sure you are right. I was wondering if anyone has an idea about why "some hits get lost". what does it mean exactly? Is it the surfer closing the window before it even starts loading or something of that sort?

set your ratio to 1 and cap the trade that will fix that problem, only do it for a few trades

1. the hits you're sending out are not unique, and his script only displays uniques.
and/or 2. you're being attacked by a hitbot/file leecher and you should deny these IPs in your .htaccess to keep them from fucking up your trades. If it's #2, you better do something about it, because it will kill your site. Look for high #'s in/out in repetitive IPs, especially in the nocookie stats. Go here to learn how to block them... http://www.javascriptkit.com/howto/htaccess5.shtml |
