A Wordpress Question; How May i Correct This?

when ever i post "html" it adds <p></p> code head and end of the code, For example:

<p><html><head><body><title>Bla Bla Bla</title></body></head></html></p>

it adds this paragraph code automaticly, How can i stop this bullshit? is There any option for that?

Thanks.

Why exactly are you posting an HTML opener tag within a post? I'm not a WordPress expert by any means, but that just seems kind of odd to me...

I have never seen that happen. Perhaps it is from some plugin you are running. Try shutting them all off and see if it still happens. If it stops you can then them on one at a time and see when it returns.

Actually, after reading Sly's response, I re-read your problem and have to ask the same thing.

Why are you opening and closing an HTML tag in the body of a post? Isn't that covered in the header and footer?

ya, i see no reason why you shoudl be posting any html outside of what woulkd be found between the opening and closing tags for the body <body></body>

Try and turn off the WYSIWYG editor in the User settings.

Matt's autop function is a thing of the devil.

YOu may try a different browser. Ive noticed with IE it sometimes adds code but with Firefox it does not. Anyone else have this situation?

Yeah they should really have a proper option to disable it in the settings rather than installing the two line "plugin" haha :upsidedow
