What makes StatsRemote better than Nifty Stats to warrant spending money on it? Just curious

First time I heard of them.

Basically, it's a trust issue.

Who is behind them? Why haven't they advertised anywhere? Why is it free? And so on.

Also I don't like their interface (from screenshots). Looks too complicated.

I have seen them post here before...
Lots of brilliant software is free and to be fair I have been using Nifty about a week and I love it. Don't think I'd ever want to fork out money for StatsRemote when I could use this...
