Baddog, you don't have to bash Obama all the time just because you feel a kinship with McCain because you are the same age. He can handle himself.

LOL. Yeah, his fate is sealed. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Mccain has very little chance unless they rig the machines. How does it feel to live in your own little dream world.

Wait a second. Aren't we expecting Paul to come in 5th, which is actually like 3rd which is mostly just 1st or something?

Obama is actually going to win, but in reality come in second. Then there will be some rioting when he loses cause no one will believe that a guy flying Che Guevara flags in his campaign office would fail to capture the votes of the majority of Americans. lol

because they are mindless sheep being lead to a slaughter. And I am no fan of McCain's either. I do believe Obama will win this election (if he gets the party nod). Then what do we have to choose. We have two people with very similar platforms with very similar voting histories. :disgust

pocketkangaroo 05-31-2008 07:17 PM

I'm still amazed at how many people in the porn industry support McCain. The same John McCain that has routinely fought to pass laws making it harder for the porn industry to operate. The same John McCain who has introduced legislation to regulate blogs, message boards, and any social networking site. The John McCain who wants to make it mandatory for you to report any signs of obscenity on your websites.

But hey, who cares about your business, Obama has an angry black pastor!

tony286 05-31-2008 07:21 PM

And we believe that is obama's office because fox news said it was? Come on people dont make it so easy for them. lol

I'm not a McCain supporter but I have to disagree with you on this.

If there's one thing people across the country know about John McCain it's that he's a deficit hawk. His annual "pork report" is almost always covered by the national media.

If there's one guy in this race who would veto any spending bill with a single earmark in it, and shut the government down as a result, it's McCain. (Partly because it's his biggest issue and partly because he probably will only serve one term if elected)

pocketkangaroo 05-31-2008 08:17 PM

I agree with Snake Doctor, McCain has been one of the few guys in Washington that has been against pork and allowing the deficit to get out of hand. He voted against the tax cuts and has fought hard to stop ridiculous earmarks.

tony286 05-31-2008 08:21 PM

The earmark myth, right up there with him being a mavrick.

Yep.

He flip-flopped on the tax cuts because he had to in order to win the republican nomination.

He knows he'll have a democratic controlled congress that won't send a bill to extend the tax cuts to his desk anyways, so he can make a speech saying he wants them made permanent, but no matter who becomes president those cuts are going to expire.

ha ha ha ha ha.. If that's all that can be dredged up it's nothing compared to everyone else like Obama and Clinton... There's a big difference between an earmark and fund allocations that go thru the proper process...

Paying 3x the value, thats our money he is giving away. Dont worry once the spotlight is really focused on old straight talk john.

pocketkangaroo 05-31-2008 09:20 PM

McCain is as corrupt as they come. Just read up on the Keating scandal. All I'm saying is that he's been one of the few guys who has actually pushed for legislation banning earmarks.

Whoop de fucking doo... Practically every senator and congressman takes way more than that every freakin year to plow into their states so they can get elected again.. McCain does something once that maybe could be considered the same and you jump all over him about it???

Let's just remember that Obama is against earmarks.. oh.. but wait... Obama's total earmark requests (when teamed up with other senators) is $399,766,475. The price tag for his solo earmark requests is $321,766,475... gee... Typical politician double speak at it's finest..

How much might have been overspent McCain? oh... wow.. 7M-10M maybe? That sure is a hell of a lot compared to how much Obama actually spent using a method he's supposed to be against.

Regardless of McCains other issues, this is one that I'd much rather have him in charge of than either of the other two. He might fuck up sometimes but over all he'd spend a hell of a lot less.

Being for one candidate over another doesn't mean you have to think they smell like roses all the time...

So its ok if you say your against something then do the opposite as long as its just a little bit? Well when you add in 2.5 billion dollars Johnny cost tax payers while protecting his buddy charles he is a little bit a head as far as wasting our tax dollars. Also know this he wants to attack iran someone has to pay for it. Your taxes will go up count on it.

If you're going to roast him for it than have the balls to roast all of them for it INCLUDING Obama... THAT'S my point... I may think Clinton is the best candidiate to win against McCain in November, but you're not going to see me blindly defending her dirty actions, nor attacking someone elses dirt that she's also guilty of. They're all flip floppers, panderers and overall lieing politicians. It's clear you're an Obama suporter but for god sake show some objectivity otherwise you just come off as one more of his rabid mindless supporters.

As for the Keating thing, all I see is a lot of speculation as to what really happened. Maybe he was dirty, maybe he wasn't... Regardless, that was 18 years ago and since then he's been pretty clean. Do you want someone who was caught with their hand close to the cookie jar and straightened themselves out or someone that keeps dipping their hand in until the rules are changed so they can't anymore?

Iran... Don't kid yourself... McCain is just saying what everyone "should" be clueing in to.. Iran, Syria, Iraq... The US is going to have troops on the ground there and will be battling those countries in one way or another for a very long time to come. Oil is in short supply and will get tighter and tighter.. Until the US can get itself far more energy independent, that area of the world is critical to the growth and stability of the country.. Anyone that thinks ANY president isn't going to maintain some control over that area now is deluding themselves. Hitler lost WWII in large part because he lacked the fuel required.. There's no chance in hell the US military will give up that area of the world now.

Im not mindless but they are blaming the man for what other people say and mccain directly fucked tax payers and its made out to be nothing. I find that annoying, I also know no one is clean and they are a politicians.
