wire transfer advice
 

Hi: I have problem getting some money through wire transfer. We are still trying to understand what is wrong, and what I don't understand is next:

If intermediary bank is changed,does my IBAN numer remains same? I thought it is like that, but what I hear from sponsor, it is not true.

What do you think?

My opinion is, that IBAN is independent on the "flow" of money.

So IBAN represent only your bank account, your bank number and chars for your country

In IBAN isn't any other info.

So money may go from USA to my CZ account via China, or via Spain intermediate bank, and IBAN will be absolutely same!

Some countries won't accept wire transfers if it is for something commercial so leave the memo fields blank if that is the case. I tried to wire money to some programmers in Ukraine before and it was a pain in the ass.
