What name brand makes the best 24" computer monitors and why?

Should i go LCD? whats the alternative to LCD for monitors?

Lemme know any advice you may have

Don't get the one with the 14 dead pixels. That can get annoying.

I have 2 22" LCD's that I picked up INSTEAD of 1 24" 22 seems to be that sweet spot in pricing where if you watch your sales you can get 2 nice ones for $500 while a single good 24" can run you $400 easily

is 1000:1 contrast ratio any good? thats what HP has but samsung boasts 20,000:1 lol will i even notice the difference???

I am with farkedup - you will get a lot more value (and desktop real estate) if you get 2x 22" monitors. I have 2 Acers and they are fantastic. I couldn't go back to a single monitor.

I have a Dell 2407. I like it, but kinda wished I went with 2 22's instead. Multiple monitors really do increase productivity

I got 40inch more space = more multitasking.
