    i am a hero to the moose race!

    i saved a life today, woot woot. i am a fucking hero.

    i was driving through the countryside when a woman in a minivan waved me over to the side of the road. I thought she was having vehicle troubles or something. So ii get out and walk over, and she points out this little newborn moose and says there's a baby cow drowning and she doesn't know what to do. I look and it and say "that's a newborn moose, it can't be more than a couple days old". The poor little fucker was stuck int he mud and drowning. I just saw a cow moose liek half a mile up the road standing by the fence. So being the prepared person I am, i just happened to have a pair of chestwaders and a lariat behind the seat of the truck. I pulled on my waders and boots, waded out to him. roped his hind leg and drug him up to shore and threw him in the box of my truck. dumped him beside the fence, and momma came running.

    me = hero

    ya, thats right...

                                  it's calving season on the family ranch, hah. i was heading out to string up electric, so i happened to bring my hipwaders with me. just got lucky i guess. lucky for me i suppose, i got to stay dry, i would have wound up wading out there in my boxers otherwise.

I didn't stick around too fucking long dumping baby off when I pulled up to her. there's few animals on earth as dangerous as an angry momma moose...

                                          now if that was back home the fucking indians would of been all over that poor helpless thing.. they do it every year when the snow gets deep and the wolfes chase them.. they run out onto the ice and than the indians get them, or when a moose is seen swimming across the lake they drive around them with the boat so the moose drowns.

                                          Was a very nice thing you done.

                                          -- oh yeah.. my brother hit a dead moose that someone else hit mins ago, his car did flips in the air and landed upside down in a creek like 50 feet away, he almost died.

                                                                              my brother has got some fuzzy cellphones pics on his phone we're gonna pull off later. touching the baby is a big no no. if i got any of my scent on it, it would have been as good as dead. the mother would have never taken it back afterwards. as for the chest waders, that spring swampwater stinks liek shit, i would have still gone in after him without them, but hey, what are the odds i had the damn things behind the seat on that day. why not use them? lol
