:1orglaugh:1orglaugh true true but who knows how or if we would have even been in this "war" situation as deep as we are now

The Truth Hurts 05-27-2008 08:09 AM

at least that is not lethal ....

Bush had a better point man in Fl than Gore did. One thing it did clear up was why Gore didnt endorse Joe Lieberman's run for president. I didnt remember that part.

Tom_PM 05-27-2008 10:24 AM

Would have watched it, except HBO is not included with my cable plan, and I wont pay extra just for it. Aint I a whiner prick?
It's ok though, I remember it well enough from real life. Corruption and colusion in Florida, and the supreme court jamming it's middle finger in america's eye by stopping the manual recount which would have only taken about 6 hours longer to complete. That about right?

Yeah Lieberman messed things up a bit with his "Meet the press" interview

WebairGerard 05-28-2008 08:49 AM

was pretty good. amazing how close that was and all the crap that was going down.

MandyBlake 05-28-2008 09:40 AM

it was very good.
kept my attention easily.

notoldschool 05-30-2008 05:48 PM

Just got to watch it for first time. Great movie. Sad the Democrats were such pussies. No wonder the neo cons left their side.

Rico Shades 05-30-2008 06:09 PM

That was very interesting indeed. I'm sure old "W" shuttered at the rehashing of some of that stuff.

uno 05-30-2008 10:24 PM

I've watched it 3x now.

I couldn't even tell you how many times I've watched Fight Club, Dark City, American Beauty or Se7en.

It was good and I'm still heated to this day. I love Denis Leary, I love Kevin Spacey. The movie was really done well.

vod 05-31-2008 06:06 AM

Yeah I saw the movie... i say we re-elect "Hoover"

I will have like 50 billion votes with only 100 million people voting... hahaha

the movie was a little crazy to think that anyone can create a voting system and not let anyone look at the program... come'on

they were asking for trouble, not letting anyone look at the voting maching code..wtf.. it is running a exe file on the system it has to be safe ;- ) hahaha

i will run for next president if we keep the same voting machines around...lol

RP Fade 05-31-2008 11:59 AM

Michaelious 05-31-2008 01:15 PM

Hmmmmmmmmmm

I watched most of it and thought it was pretty good. Made me sick to my stomach tho, watching the whole train wreck that was the 2000 election only this time knowing of the pathetic outcome before it happened.

Gore DID win back in 2000. And frankly, he should be 3 1/2 years into his second term right now. I think it's reasonably safe to say we wouldn't be trillions of $$ in debt over a senseless war and deep in a recession.

But I think we ultimately needed a fuckin moron in office and for the country to divide like it did so that we can hit rock bottom and see what it's like, and recover with a vengeance and hopefully not be doomed to repeat history.

I hope you are right my freind.

Snake Doctor 05-31-2008 05:27 PM

Yes I saw it, it was good.

The sad part is that there are problems just like that in MOST elections everywhere in the country, but most elections aren't close enough for those errors to be significant enough to affect the outcome.

I saw another documentary on how easy it is to hack the memory cards for the diebold voting machines. Made me a believer in paper ballots.

potter 05-31-2008 06:06 PM

there's another great documentary on the 2004 election. forget what it's call though
