Best way to get hardlinks?

Can somebody help me out here please. I am wondering what the best way is to get someone to link to my site and some of my blogs. I am new at this whole trade thing. All I want is a link on my site and a link on their site. What's the first step? I appreciate the help!

You can find hard link trades at Thunder-Ball. It's a really nice system that will alert you if some one drops your link.

If you make an account at TB, add me to icq 38162458 and we can do a couple trades.

You can also handle non reciprocal links very comfortably with thunder-ball.

You can also install linkex on your server. It is a nice script which can handle your links. Users differ on linkex. There some pros and contras. You can search this forum or just make your own opinion: http://linkex.dk/ :)

LinkEx is great. Also you can find a number of good traders on forums just like GFY. Do some google searching for adult webmaster forums and you should come up with quite a few.

My question is what do you want to trade links for? Is it for PR or traffic?

If you'r trading for PR you won't be able to trade with any site with a decent PR until you have a good rating yourself.

If you're trading for traffic, unless you have a trade script and use some sort of skim, don't expect any traffic.

Now, if you have a decent blog and want to trade links with other good blogs then you need to email them and ask them to trade. But don't expect much of a response if your blog is new and has very little traffic.

pagerank is a joke. it does nothing at all unless you want to sell links...
the purpose of getting hardlinks is to get backlinks which will improve your search engine placement, thus earning you more money...

To the new guy.... go out and work your ass off on getting some inlinks and traffic from creating blogs and other ways.. get creative : ). Trade for hardlinks after about 2 months in the biz with traffic and stuff under your belt
