Just bear in mind when tanking your SUV's over there guys that we are paying at least $8/gallon over here in Europe :-)

it doesn't when you need to fill your gas tank at $4.00, every week.

American's get all hyped up about stuff that is really just completely blown out of proportion.

It's all perspective...

I can give two shits about gas prices.. I do not even look at them..

And I drive two gas drinkers..

78' Grand Marquis with a big 460 engine.. Gets 7 mpg

78' Ford f100 ½ ton.. 12-15 mpg



Before I would bitch and cry I would just buy a hybrid..

But I love my ol school whips so I will keep filling up at $80-100 a pop no problem..

It is a small price to pay to get from point A to B when I want to and do it in style..

Nah...don't feel better because you guys get free health care guy.

That's all relative too. I don't consider a 30 year old land yacht to be style...

What really pisses me off is all the excuses. Fire in one country, storm in another. Well there has always been accidents where oil was pulled out and that never made the price skyrocket like it does these days. I know the dollar is REALLY LOW and the oil companies want to keep making LOTS cash but still... you can suck the world so hard it has to fight to survive and that's not pretty.
