get a fuckin' clue..... the ad people did not break into her house and shoot random unsuspecting pics of her when she wasn't looking. She VOLUNTARILY put her mug into that ad campaign for the PURPOSE of making you feel sorry for her, and YOU guys brought it to GFY. If you don't want smart comments, don't stick it in my face.

yeah, and i'm sure the family is crying over all the money they're getting from this (either through random donators or fundraisers by the state).

It's a very effective ad. It certainly made me sit up and take notice.

And as for her making money off the poster or thinking that her motivation is to get people to feel sorry for her. Get a life.

I'm not exactly sure which is dumber ...

a. thinking that someone who is featured on a poster like that does it for sympathy or profit, or

b. someone who posts a picture like that on GFY and is offended by the fact that people make fun of it.

So you think the ad is a ploy to get people to feel sorry for this girl, not an attempt to get folks - kids, mostly, I'd assume - to think about the consequences of their actions when it comes to drinking and driving?

Sure it is.... I don't disagree that that was the goal. But they're getting there by way of putting this girls face on their ad in order for you to feel sorry for her. If not, then why didn't they pick a perfectly formed magazine model for the ad? Not all drunk driving accident vics are horribly disfigured either.... so why didn't they use one of those instead?

I think that everybody agres to feel a LITTLE sad for her, but i will agree with you so to say that the add is tastless... but sometimes you need stuf like that to make people wake up.. drinking and diveng is NOT OK
