Words of Wisdom from Kanye West
 

So I went to the concert in Montreal last night which was amazing. N.E.R.D. and Rhianna were very good but had a regular performance. Kanye's performance was more like rap theater. He was the only one on stage for the entire hour and a half but the lights and special effects were great.

The one thing that I found interesting he gave everyone a book as you exited the building. The book is called "Thank You And You're Welcome". Here are a couple of lines from the Book:

-Get Used to Being Used
-Life is 5% what happens and 95% how you react!
-If everyone thinks it's right...You're doing something wrong!
-Would you believe in what you believe in if you were the only one who believed in it?
-Believe in your flyness, conquer your shyness
-I would rather lose because someone else was right than win when I'm wrong.
-Never justify your behavior with the wrongs of others
-Love your haters...they're your biggest fans!

I thought it was an interesting marketing move. Any thoughts?

Thats a really cool thing to give out. I think it's a brilliant marketing move. His fans will identify with him even more ... which will strengthen brand loyalty. It makes him very approachable, which he has had problems with in the past.
