Thoughts on this camera please...
 

Got a friend of a friend(trust both) that has the Sony DCR TRV 950 MiniDV Digital Cam. Whats your take on this as an B cam or so. Worh buying ? Out datesd? Whose used or has and youyr experience? Comes with a tome of accesories for $800 and can prolly get it less? IYO better than springing for the still pricey 2100? Not the onlty one i'm buying as for cams but sounded like a good deal?!?!?!

Sony is typically a good camera. Few models have problem with autofocus, but its not a major issue. Tons of accessories could always be handy. If your friend isn't looking for HDV this could be a good choice.

Well the cam would be for me. I figure its in great working order, a lot cheaper than the 2100 and accesories I dont have to buy. This would be a B cam so to speak. I have broken it down to two cams I am getting and this could be a trave/back up spare.... Just collecting opnions.
