breast cup size, correct order / sequence of sizes?
 

I'm need a picklist to represent breast cup size and I need it to be sortable so I will be assigning a number to each one but I'm not sure of the letters part (A - B - C - D - DD - DDD...).

What does it mean when there is more than one letter and when does it go to the next letter? How does DDD compare to E?

What is the correct order? How high does it go?

I think a DDD is the same as an E but not 100% sure.

It doesn't seem like there is any agreement to the scale though.

I guess repeating the letter makes it go up one size. Seems kind of pointless. Like a double sharp in music notation? Why not just write the next note?

have you ever also looked at womens dress or pant sizes? Hell or even shoe's for that matter. Nothing is meant to be easy and it also varies by company.

Dd = E
Ddd = F
Dddd = G
