I've always thought, it would be naive to think we are the only species out of thousands of stars out there and planets we will never visit because of the distance from Earth there has to be some other life forms...curious to see your take :)

I've always thought it would be naive to think that species capable of traveling light years to get here would be unable to watch us without getting spotted.

There's probably alien life out there in the universe. There's no good reason to assume it's watching us, though. And if it's watching us, it probably has enough technology not to get spotted.

Just think... It's very possible that on some distant planet, in some far off galaxy, there are bunch of evolved ants watching Americant Idol re-runs right now.

I doubt it. That would be devolved. Higher level ants would be listening to NPR and sipping a brandy while fucking his secretary on the pretext that they were working late.

Technically any logical person should believe in them otherwise they would have to contend they could identify every single thing seen flying in the air which is not possible. Now whether these unidentified flying objects are weather phenomena, hoaxes, secret military aircraft, time travelers, space ships with little aliens in them or some other possibliity who knows.

So your saying whatever may lay out there in space, far beyond our intelligence, would have to have the capability to be virtually "invisible", hmm, why not be able to live forever?

I believe in UFO's because UFO is Unidentified Flying Object. So for example, if someone's pants are falling from a window at 51-й floor and you can't identify them as "falling pants" they will be considered as UFO.

Invisible to our technology, yes. Hell, even we already have technology that comes near to doing this.

As for being able to live forever, yes, that is quite likely. Life is basically a system, and with enough technology, it is possible to keep virtually any system going by replacing parts.

I think they have. Obviously civizilans will never find out.

I think that one star trek show said it pretty well. that people from another planet may not really make contact until we reach out to them, and show that we are capable.

Whilst I agree that it is foolish to rule anything totally out I don't particularly believe.

I have never seen a UFO and all I can say is: Seeing is believing. If I see them with my own eyes I wont tell that they do not exist.
