So which adult industry trade magazines do you subscribe to?

What % of overlap do you think exists? Do you think someone who receives Klixxx also receives XBIZ and vice versa?

I've been asking for magazines for years I never get them, I think it's the industries way of trying to tell me something

I subscribed to some a couple of years ago. Never got them so fuck it.

I have heard this a lot which seems crazy to me on the part of the mag.

AVN, GayVN, AVNovelties, XBiz Premier, XBiz World, Adult Store Buyer, Klixxx, Fubar, ED Publications, Tease, etc. All have valuable information.

two questions:

1) do you ship to Germany?
3) does it come in a discreet envelope? :)

I only read them when they are left in seminar rooms at shows. I'm not sure what demographic they are written for but it certainly isn't me...

They are all stupid.
They are not trade magazines they are banner farms.

Advice in most of them is outdated, not current or totally out of touch and in some cases intensely misleading. The gratuitous self plugging interviews make me wanna vomit as they often attempt to sound important on issues they often capitalise on.

For example: The sniveling about tube sites. More 3/4 of the mongrel's talkin about it are actually capitalising on content theft while talkin mad shit about how fucking wrong content theft is.

I can go on and on over the years about how fucked up many of the artical's are, most are out right misleading, while another portion discusses the next "Forum" for companies to waste good money on thinking it is some sort of promotion.

Fact is these Magazines will never keep up with information found on the Internet Forums.
None of these trade magazines give truthful reviews on programs and companies that engage in unlawful conduct while infact taking money from companies engaged in unlawful conduct on the web.

The whole thing is a shit can farce and everyone knows it the only redeeming thing a magazine has going for it is perhaps reading what some "Expert" in the industry is saying who just happens to be a contact that a reader might know.

There it is... See them AFF ad's on Illegal tube sites yup you do, now turn the pages boom there they are. The trade magazines of today have no fucking moral's and thier only allegiance is to the fucking dollar.

This kind of thing has happened time after time over the years. Trade magazines take money from known Content thieves, known UBE spammers, known Dialer scammers you fucking name it.

For these magazines to tout themselves as the treasures of information of this industry is a fucking cancer and travesty.

When I was a newer webmaster I believed some of the trade magazines, I bought right into the concept that these are "Official trade magazines" but after a while you begin to know things, you begin to see how the web is playing out.

Once you are at that level of thinking these so called trade magazines are relics behind real current event's. All things in these trade magazines attempt to put a positive spin on bullshit that does not matter while allowing those that abuse this industry to have a fucking voice!

It's pathetic, it's appaling its all fucking lie's on paper. I feel real bad for the newer webmaster's these days, most of whom are to stupid with an ego the size of New York as they pick these things up... It distort's views, it distort's the reality of the veritable situations on the web and often the people portrayed in these magazines again are amoung some of the biggest con's and scam artists in the business put right up on pedastal's of king shitdom.

All I can say is WEAK! WEAK! And shame on these magazines.
They make me fuckign sick to my stomach. Do not make me go off about the Awards shows...
