CCbill Email arrived tonight
The awaited CCbill Email is here, I didn't see anything about Visa. So uhm, did it just go away? Or what??
Dear CCBill Webmaster - Earlier this year we introduced you to Version 3.0 of the CCBill Webmaster Admin. The new system incorporated many new features and enhancements to the previous version and offered powerful stats, reports, admin functions, and a useful Subscription Forms Solution, considered the most customizable subscription form system available today. Since the March 2002 Version 3.0 launch, CCBill has been working on developing additional features to make the system more powerful than ever for you to administer your CCBill Accounts. The latest set of system upgrades are being made available to you at no added cost and include improvements to the rebilling system, as well as the addition of several new revenue generation tools for you to maximize your potential online revenues. Please note: If you are not currently utilizing the new custom Subscription forms on the newest CCBill Admin system we urge you to set up your new subscription forms immediately at https://reports.ccbill.com/altindex.cgi in order to take advantage of the following new features: NEW Pop Up Screens for Signup Upsales and Cancellation Discounts ? Available TODAY! In an effort to help further maximize your potential revenue opportunities from membership sales, Version 3.0 has added a new Pop up features that enables you to capitalize on both your signup and cancellation activity through your sites. This added functionality provides you with powerful marketing capabilities, allowing you to up sell to new customers once they have successfully completed the signup process and/or to offer discounted rates to any existing members who are attempting to cancel their membership activity. Both the signup and cancellation Pop-ups are opt-in functions and are fully customizable, allowing you the opportunity to effectively cross-promote your different websites to a captive audience of ready buyers, as well as a means to creatively recover lost membership sales before they have a chance to leave the site. Setting up these Pop ups is an easy process. To access the Signup Upsale Popup: Log on to the Webmaster Admin Version 3.0 Click the Tools link found on the yellow Menu Tab Click the Custom Forms Tab Click the Upsale Setup Menu Item to start the Form Upsale Wizard Proceed through the Wizard To access the Cancellation Discount Popup: Log on to the Webmaster Admin Version 3.0 Click the Tools link found on the yellow Menu Tab Click the Services Setup Tab Click the Loyalty/Cancel Discounts Menu Item Proceed to choose your desired Subaccount and Create New Discount NEW Processing of Korean Debit Cards ? Available TODAY! Before now, Korean traffic converted poorly, offering higher chargebacks and screened-out country traffic. But now, because of a strategic partnership with the Local Korean Banking Network, CCBill can accept a full line of Korean Debit Cards from Consumers originating from Korean IP?s. These local Korean Debit Cards (Korean KEB, Korean KOOKMIN, Korean LG, Korean BC, and Korean SAMSUNG) are issued by the local banks in Korea, and are not part of the Visa or MasterCard networks. Best of all, the CCBill system handles these transactions for you invisibly. As the system reviews the bin numbers of your online customer?s credit card, all Korean Debit Card transactions are automatically sent to the Local Korean Bank Network for processing. And because most Korean nationals use these cards regularly, client conversions on Korean traffic should be impressive. NEW Rebill 24 System ? Available Monday, October 21st! We have improved the CCBill rebilling system to provide you with more accurate and detailed membership and accounting information. Previously, CCBill processed and reported on recurring sales on a daily basis. Regardless of when a member initially signed up, all rebills were recorded at the same time ? 1:00am - each day. This resulted in lag issues on the consumer side for their trial period and for Webmasters in accurately accounting for their rebills. For example, if a consumer joined a site at 10:00am, although they are granted immediate membership access upon approval of payment, the system would not record their membership until 1:00am the following morning. Effectively, this gave them 15 additional hours on their trial membership before the clock actually started ticking. In an attempt to address these timing issues and provide for more accurate reporting, we developed the new Rebill 24 System. Rebill 24 will now process and report on your rebills on an hourly basis. With these detailed hourly reports, you will be able to more accurately manage your trial memberships and monitor your rebilling activity. This information is easily accessible 24x7 through the Scheduled Rebill Report. I ought to be laughing, but after all I've been through in the past week I can't even crack a smile. Well at least they're trying. About time we can take ATM cards...But Korea? It's the fraud and hacking capital of the world. Ask any asian niche webmaster about Korea lol.. |

Status Update
The email that you received today was just a scheduled release on the 15th of New Features on CCbill. We will be sending another email on Wed detailing the Visa Registration process. You will also see these forms in your admin section towards the end of the day. I will post on a new topic some of the details of my trip to NY and the information learned from Banks and Visa Ron C CEO, CCbill.com |

Everyone..... CCBill doesn't write this stuff on the fly. Ron needs to consult with his management staff on what to say, then it goes to all of the sales reps for review, and then to CCBill's legal department. This stuff needs to be worded carefully to avoid fuckups. You don't send out an email to thousands of people without giving it serious thought..........
