The article says it would be an iphone killer if windows mobile didn't suck. Since I'm a windows guy I think I'll buy it. When verizon and att lowered their unlimited minute plans from $200/month to $100 Sprint responded by doing the same plus adding unlimited internet and unlimited text messages (about $50/month better than verizon and Att) so I've been looking for an excuse to switch anyway.

yeah I've been looking at the new HTC phones, my wife has a mogul and I'm on a lowly moto Q but I think I have another 6mnths left before I can justify dropping more cash for a new phone.

3Mp camera's gotta be nice, the 2M on the mogul is really really nice for a phone.

windows mobile is fucking awful.

i will never use a phone that has it again. made that mistake once with another HTC phone. i loved the phone itself, but after 2 months, the OS was so crappy it was unusable.

i have a mogul and will be upgrading to that one as soon as it comes out.

I'm about done with Sprint...

I personally love windows mobile. I have a mogul, looks like im getting an upgrade.

I don't see what you guys have against it.

It runs my spreadsheets, email, browses the web(I use piscel not windows browser), has remote desktop to connect to my pc and servers, the list goes on and on

never been happier. htc has a couple of good looking phones on the horizon...im not ready to give this thing up though...not anytime soon.

windows phones are ok, but i feel ms could do a lot better

yeah, I have no probs with windows mobile. I'm stuck with alltel out here in bumfuck no where though. So until they get a nice phone to upgradeo my treo too, there will be no updating for me

I have the mogul.. I like the windows phones since just like a windows PC they are easy to hack, upgrade and add even more cool features on. I know that there are already people creating that same backend from the diamond for the mogul.

They have to do something, companies going down the toilet

i agree, there is a platform now and it is the iphone

until its available on all networks with great rebates there's just no point in bothering. I'd barely justify spending $200 out of pocket on a phone seeing how they're basically "disposable" What real benefit does the iphone have over something like the mogul? costing more than twice as much, fighting an "unlocking war" and what else? lack of fast internet....

benefits? You get to feel cool because you're using the latest fancy toy that mac sells to everybody with small penises.

I don't know about you but every 6mnths to a year I want a different phone. The batteries inside them basically go to hell, so much better options are available (yes even all you early iphone people will be eyballing other phones and hell even the 3G iphone after using your current one a year)

There is absolutely no point in buying a phone right now without proper 3G support. I tether my laptop with my moto q or my wifes mogul every time we're on trips. Her mogul has WAY faster internet than my Q. Even in the basic text browser pages you can "feel it" and I've used dozens of download benchmarks from several locations.

yes windows mobile has its problems like having to remember to "reboot" your phone a couple times a week but mobile 6 helps this by finally easily allowing you to quickly close open apps. Mobile 5 SUCKED though which is on my Q so windows is certainly moving forward.

oh yeah lets not forget the GPS support in the phone... use the free google maps OR install a real GPS system on it and have all the benefits of a real GPS.

All you idiots with your iphone bragging about the cool interface and a few things you can do better yet you somehow overlook how poor it is at MANY things. There simply is NOT a perfect phone out there. If you tossed the iphone interface into something like this HTC diamond it would be end of discussion. on paper the diamond is better in every way yet the windows interface just isn't all that fancy. When I get one and install a bunch of third party apps and mod the hell out of it it'll certainly be a nice phone. I bet you I can get it for ~$200 too... I'll likely setup a cheap SERO plan for a family member and get that phone and offer them my Q for free.

Blackberry is the only way to go.
