A stupid gallery question...
 

Still learning galleries, so don't hate. I submitted this puppy the other day, but nobody seems to like it. I've been studying TGP galleries all day, and many don't seem much better than this one. Could some of you TGP owners tell me why this gallery isn't worthy of a listing? Thanks in advance!

i would list it if i did softcore stuff... good clean layout, stick with it but try adding hardcore pics instead...

Cut down the header on it... make it smaller... I decline galleries all the time that end up putting a ton of shit on top...

I want atleast the top part of the thumbs showing on a 800x600 screen, it helps with productivity IMHO.

Also, put some juicy link in the middle section, and make th elink on the bottom bigger! you wont get jack SHIT for clickthroughs like that mate!

You got a slight error in your html. Move the cursor over the thumbs, and what do you see showing... your ccbill refer code.

It's an automatic delete from most tgp, they might think your thumbs lead to the sponsor instead of the big pic.

you might want to shrink the top logo - nothing about it makes me want to click. Better to have a nasty text link on the bottom of the page, that is where the surfer will wind up, anyway.

But it looks pretty good, and it is already better than a large % of the pages I see around - plus it is legal content :thumbsup

I do think the pics all look to similar.

But more importanly why are you trying to sell a recurring program with a girl that is not inside the site? Its very bad business for you, no rebill, its also bad news for the site owner (my buddy sweetcuties) because if people don't get the content they signed up for they are more likely to chargweback.

Only promote recurring sites with content they have in the members area. If its per sign, well its their bsiness not yours.

I agree it's just that there promo content is getting real wore out. They don't have a whole lot and everyone is using it. I talked to them and they said that using my own pics was not a problem but again I do see your point.

i agree with heymatty 100%. if you guys are buying content... mabye you could strike a deal with webguy from sweetcuties to give you first dibbs on his sweetcuties content for a small fee and not give it to any other webmasters and just put it on the site. then you dont have to worry about the girl not being in the site.

I think its great you invested your own cash to promote the site.

But this is what I suggest, if you want to promote the site mail sweetcuties and tell him the set you are planning to buy. Aarons content is not so expensive, $40/$50 a set?

If you tell him your plans I am sure he would happily buy the set for his members area as an extra.

All I know is nothing makes a person cancel faster than not finding the content they signed up for.

i dont think that would work because the main thing behind the sweetcuties theme is that his site is 100% exclusive amateur content that he shot himself. aaronm is a professional photographer and i dont think his photos look nearly as amateurish so they wouldnt match up with the content on the site nor would they be "100% exclusive".
