Subway sucks!

Every time I go there to get a sandwich I leave and smell like shit for the rest of the day... I don't even eat there!

Being in that store for 5 min will ruin your clothes!

Fat Panda 05-14-2008 05:43 PM

i dont seem to have that problem

woj 05-14-2008 06:04 PM

notoldschool 05-14-2008 06:04 PM

Foods not what it used to be.

VIPimp 05-14-2008 06:07 PM

I am just about to go there now :)

Beaver Bob 05-14-2008 06:20 PM

Subway is all right with me. I can't fuckin stand quiznos.

Some Guy 05-14-2008 06:27 PM

Quiznos burns Subway so bad.

I use to work at Subway when I was young. I'd go home smelling like the place. I dated a couple of girls who worked there and they'd all reak like Subway when they got off of work, too.

But being in the store a few minutes shouldn't make you smell like the place. Weird.

tony286 05-14-2008 06:27 PM

living in atl now, I miss the real deli's we had in NY. The cold cuts in subway all look gray yuck.

Spunky 05-14-2008 06:30 PM

Quiznos..toasted tastes better

BVF 05-14-2008 06:31 PM

I was at subway yesterday as it's my oldest daughter's favorite fast food restaurant....I've never noticed....However, before going to our regular subway, we stopped by the one inside the walmart and it looked like shit....

In fact, let me eat the meat out of the leftover BMT in the fridge...

Sosa 05-14-2008 07:27 PM

I like subway :)

aico 05-14-2008 07:29 PM

Must be your Subway. I like the smell of fresh bread.

mattz 05-14-2008 07:31 PM

qxm 05-14-2008 07:35 PM

........mmm for the dude who says subway subs leave him smelling bad......... have u thought of ordering the sub WITHOUT onions? ... it makes all the difference, believe me...

dready 05-14-2008 07:43 PM

Something about that place grosses me out. I think it's something in the bread, leaves me feeling all slimy after.

mozadek 05-14-2008 07:48 PM

Wipe your ass when you finish taking a shit. That'll get rid of the smell.

Holly 05-14-2008 08:27 PM

We got a Firehouse Subs here not too long ago and I'm kinda digging it. The only sub I ever order is meatball, and theirs is pretty good.

Azoy? 05-14-2008 09:01 PM

here's how you fix the problem you are having as it seems no one else does. Besides why do you go there if you not eating in the place.
k. so here is how you fix your subway issues.
change the diaper once you poop in it.
remember this and you will not have this issue in the future :1orglaugh

[Brian] 05-14-2008 09:11 PM

He's right, it does have a weird smell, I've noticed it too. Instead of smelling like a nice bakery it's more like that smell when you first open a package of lunch meat.

I'm amazed that a restaurant can be so popular that is nothing but a bunch of bins full of lunch meat and vegetables. (Don't get me wrong, I still eat there too) *sigh*

MediaGuy 05-14-2008 09:15 PM

I know the smelll... but walking outdoors usually takes care of it...

fallenmuffin 05-14-2008 09:21 PM

My local subway has a drive-thru... no need to go in ;)

Mutt 05-14-2008 10:17 PM

not a big fan of Subway - i do eat it because there's one literally almost next door.

Subway improperly handles it's food.
They wear very cheap disposable gloves and those gloves go every where.
Cheap disposable gloves are known to transmit "stuff" through them and offer very little sanitary protection (this has been proven in food lab experiments).
Workers tend to wear them continuously in the mistaken belief that this will prevent both contamination and cross contamination.
This is the same thing that occurs with uneducated persons visiting a contagious patient in the hospital.
They suit up, go in to the room and keep the suit on after leaving the room infecting every living asshole they meet along the way back to their car.
The subway gloved hand acts much the same way.
If the beef is a little off, well the lettuce gets contaminated by the same bacteria by virtue of the "clean" gloved hand.
So even if you don't order beef you may get sick anyway cuz your turkey sub gots lettuce on it too.
See how it works now?
Stick with restos that use individual serving utensils, one for each and every item, it's the law in a a lot of places, you can see it in action at many all-you-can-eat self serve buffets.
The individual serving utensil is a lot cleaner and more sanitary then any gloved hand, after all you wouldn't take a piss by holding your dick between two big spoons would you?
Oh, btw enjoy your next meal!

sicone 05-14-2008 11:12 PM

Sounds like a issue with that Subway. Try a different one.

SmutGiant 05-14-2008 11:14 PM

Mr.Sub sells a "Montreal Corned Beef Sub".
They don't get out much, do they?

CDSmith 05-14-2008 11:29 PM

Next time shout your order from the doorway. Tell the guy you've developed agoraphobia (fear of entering shops).

There you go

No more lunchmeat full diaper sandwich shop stink all over you.

onezero 05-15-2008 02:05 AM

Yeah, don't know about the smelling like shit thing?! Strange. But... who said Q's is gross!! Q's kicks S's ass up and down all day long! I'm not gonna sit here and say Subway tastes like shit... cause it's okay, but that's about as far as I go in giving Subway any compliments. Quiznos on the other hand is hella tasty!

I feel you on the glove thing! All in all though... fast food is just nasty! It comes with the territory. It's hard enough getting a decent meal at a place that actually has chefs/cooks that prepare the meal. Best bet for the most tasty/clean food ever... COOK/EAT AT HOME!

Most home kitchens are so much worse off than even some of the worst eateries out there. Seriously who cares much, bacteria is good.

I agree. The last few years it seems like they lowered their quality control. The few times I've had it in the last year, it wasn't that good.

Gary_TLX 05-15-2008 02:55 AM

Subway is ok, but nothing special. Quiznos is much much better in my opinion.

I agree also, Not only the quality, but the quantity. We have a great mom and pop sub place on the corner. They know how to make a sub.

Tom_PM 05-15-2008 09:00 AM

Solution: buy food at a grocery store. Save money, avoid smells, avoid handlers of meats. lol.

You're welcome. :upsidedow
